I recently saw a favorite film again for the nth time (it is one of those films you have to watch when it pops up), and again it brought back lessons from history that it seems mankind unfortunately needs to relearn every several generations. The lesson is, if truth and virtue are skipped for a generation, vice will rear its ugly head the next. If the lessons skip one generation, they will resurface in the next for man to repeat the negative cycle of state abuse.
The film is the 1961 Oscar award winning classic Judgment at Nuremberg. It is a fictional account of the story of the trial in 1947-48 in Nuremberg, Germany of Nazi war criminals for their atrocities against humanity during World War II.
This film had an all-star cast with Spencer Tracy as the presiding American judge, Judy Garland as a wrongfully abused woman at the hands of the Third Reich, Burt Lancaster as the great German judge of his day, Richard Widmark as the allied prosecutor, Maximillian Schell as the German defense attorney, and Marlene Dietrich as the widow of an executed general, and other luminary actors. This film is a lesson of history.
Prior to the rise of Hitler and the aftermath of the war has been well documented and little is left to tell as it has been told so many times before. But, there is one very poignant scene that has amazing relevance to Americans today. At the end of the movie, Burt Lancaster as the famous jurist asks to see the judge. The judge reluctantly obliges the request going to his cell with his hat in his hand as he is homeward bound. Janning (Lancaster) says to the judge (Tracy), “By all that is right in this world, your verdict was a just one.” Janning asks him to believe that concerning the mass murder of innocents, “I never knew it would come to that.” Spencer Tracy then says, “Herr Janning, it came to that the first time you sentenced a man to death you knew to be innocent.” The judge stares stone faced with simultaneous shock at the logic of the reply.
When America legalized abortion at the Supreme Court of the United States we sealed our fate as a nation. The blessing left America that very hour and day in the eyes of Heaven. Christina Gallagher was told by the Blessed Mother the sins bringing down judgment on the country are the killing of the innocents (abortion), the immoral abuse of the innocents, and the sacrifice of the innocents to Satan. They are sins against nature itself. When we legalized abortion we condemned our nation. The slaughter of the innocents is paramount to the destiny of a nation. It is like an umbrella blocking out the rain and sunshine, precluding God’s blessings because of sin.
Solomon said, “Nothing is new under the sun.” The lessons of Israel and Yahweh’s blessings and chastisements to His people is the biblical narrative over millennia. If Israel sinned in a modest way of disobedience there would be a Heavenly rebuke. If the sin continued in a more egregious fashion, the rebuke would be more dramatic with consequences for His chosen people. That is the mystery and the reality of the Jewish people throughout the covenanted history of the nation of Israel. The same applies to the gentile nations. Sin has consequences. “It has been your sin that has separated you from God. (Isaiah 59:2). God does not punish, but we enable the devil to intervene in our lives because of our sin. Sin clouds the intellect and graces are precluded from operating. Mortal sin is just that, it is mortal to the mind, body, and soul. It has probably been some time since you have heard the words “mortal sin” from a pulpit.
The battle we see today in the streets, classrooms, and in our neighborhoods is ultimately a spiritual one. Satan first said he would not serve. And so it plays out in the culture today. Those who are trying to adhere to a moral code according to scriptural dictates continue to shrink as the years go on. It is unbeliever vs. believer as so many times in history. The story today is a similar one just with different names and dates than the past, as history repeats itself. There is war in the streets because there is war in our hearts. “Unless the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it cannot bear fruit” (John 12:24). Until there is submission of our will to the Will of God, we will not see fruit as a nation.
It is estimated approximately 95% of the liberal press is unchurched. Being unchurched illustrates a mindset of who is your master. Going to church will not assure that person will sit at the right hand of the Father upon death, but it does show there is a disposition to God and His precepts and statutes—and an ideology to His laws. Who are you trying to follow? Many in the liberal press are at best agnostic and many are atheist. If they are not outright unbelievers, they are often practical atheists in their views and lifestyle. It is not consistent to call yourself a believer and vote for abortion or transgender acceptance. Several years after the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, it was asked on a Moscow street, How did this happen? The simple yet profound response was, “We forgot God.”
America is at the same point today as empires of the past, which is why we find ourselves in this moral quagmire. Historians with little knowledge of Scripture or philosophy, do not realize that it is the Lord who raises a nation up because of fidelity to Him, and brings a nation to its knees because of sin. That is the more accurate way to interpret the rise and fall of civilizations. It is an ignored fact of history due to lack of knowledge to interpret it as just a mere historical cycle. That is the underlying ebb and flow of cultures and great civilizations.
Historian Will Durant spoke for years that empires do not abruptly end because of invasions from without; but they commit suicide. The decline is always from within. America is presently committing suicide. People speak of democrats and progressives like Biden as a bad moral leader. The greater threat is the millions that walk among us who endorse his pagan policies. That is far more to fear for the general welfare of the nation knowing the threat of this immorality. It is actually being propagated by an unsuspecting gullible and foolish electorate that have been so dumbed down, they believe these immoral leaders—and follow them blindly.
The biggest mistake of the conservatives is thinking progressives will negotiate and act in good faith. They do not act in good faith for the best of the nation and you can see just how aggressive the communists are today. They are not socialists, but communists, and they want everything to do with the Divine completely removed from the culture.
Radical Changes in Our Midst
Believers are fighting for survival and must now stand up and be heard or we will end up like Nazi Germany or the former USSR under Lenin and Stalin. If that sounds extreme look at the progress they have made in recent years and especially since the Covid 19 state tyranny began. It is not a time to be passive in any way. Now is the last- ditch effort to proclaim the truth without fear. People must realize what is called the democratic party is not democratic at all. The most virulent of the agenda is by democrats, but there are many Republicans on board with the agenda of global government. It is the 21st Century version of the American Communist Party (ACP). They are out to fundamentally destroy the United States as it has been in the past. The most fundamental goals are to deconstruct the U.S. Constitution and all that implies. This means the glue that kept the Constitution alive for two hundred thirty-four years is being destroyed at this moment in time. Their social agenda for years is saying there are too many people on the planet and the way to deal with it is to reduce the population of the world. Not understanding their goal of depopulation precludes someone from understanding plans like the Global 2020 Agenda, that is now the 2030 Agenda. Moving the date to 2030 enables a devotee to have a long-range vision for change.
Satan is out to destroy God’s people and even creation itself. The kill shot planned years in advance is Covid 19 and all the plans implemented since its inception. The unseen enemy of a virus has given the State the ability to employ abusive tactics for more control. It is the perfect storm. Every day is another insane agenda item that gets traction because communists are relentless. Dr. Anthony Fauci is on record wanting to “give the jab” to children as young as six months! One day it is to pack the Supreme Court with four more progressives, then D.C. statehood, the next it is to force vaccine shots on the mentally incapable. This tyrannical agenda has police raiding churches but allowing sports and other special interests to gather in large numbers without interference.
The primary target of control from the beginning has been churches and the freedom of assembly to worship. All totalitarian regimes look to crush people of faith first because they are independent thinkers who do not look to the state for their salvation as secularists do. The United States has been the beacon of hope for the world as the longest living constitution in world history. A radical element in Congress has taken control pushing a godless heinous ruinous agenda hellbent to destroy the Republic and Christianity itself. The Vatican is far removed from historical orthodoxy and deeply complicit in promoting world government. As in ages past, it has lost its way. It has been deeply infiltrated by leftist communists and masonry for several generations.
The Holy See is also making itself a servant of the godless New World Order. This must be understood if one is to know what we are fighting.
Words have meaning. The LGBTQ and migration/immigration movement have said they learned their tactics from the abortion rights movement to never give an inch and always be aggressive with goals. The globalists have an agenda to radically transform the landscape to a one-party system using immigration. Immigration is the weaponization of the political process to end a conservative vote ever having meaning. Its goal is to end all dissent for communist control by a cabal of evil elitists which is now called the Deep State. It is an organized masonic agenda to virtually collapse the country from within to bring in new godless global governance.
Judging by the political views of elected officials in Congress today, it is working. Billions are going to promote this agenda in the new $1.9 trillion stimulus bill. Hitler, Stalin, and other tyrants didn’t happen overnight. It happened because there was silence in the land for decades before their rise. Nor has the tyranny in our midst today happened overnight.
FREDERIC Bastiat, the French philosopher/stateman who lived in the aftermath of the French Revolution summed it up best, “When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men in society, over the course of time they create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”
Outside the Auschwitz prison camp was a sign that read, “When they came for the mentally handicapped, I said nothing, when they came for the infirmed, I said nothing, when they came for the Jews, I said nothing, when they came for me, there was no one left to speak. Signed, a Catholic priest.” Either speak now, or you will lose your voice for several generations.
“Give ear to my words O Lord, give heed to my groaning. Hearken to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to thee do I pray. O, Lord in the morning thou dost hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for thee, and watch. For thou are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not sojourn with thee. The boastful may not stand before thy eyes; thou hate all evildoers. Thou destroyest those who speak lies; the Lord abhors bloodthirsty and deceitful men. But I through the abundance of thy steadfast love, will enter thy house. I will worship toward thy holy temple. (Psalm 5 1-7).
