How it May Pertain to the Prophesied Warning & The Great Miracle of Garabandal
When all is lost, a child goes to the mother. It is with the mother that the child finds the solace, gentleness, forgiveness, and understanding only a mother can give. Mankind has cried out many times in history to the Blessed Mother, and it has been through her direct intervention that history has been altered on many occasions.
At the moment, we are a morally rudderless world, and it will be again through the Blessed Mother that life-changing events will set us back on course. Sister Lucia of Fatima once used the emotive phrase that the world was in a state of “diabolical disorientation.” Heaven is going toe to toe with the enemy, and the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church. That is the promise of Scripture. The chosen instrument for that task by the Most Holy Trinity is the Blessed Virgin Mary — the daughter of the Father, the Mother of the Son, and the Spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Please note in this brief article of three things: a. the number 18, b. The number 13, and, c. Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The reader will realize how these three things are interwoven in several Marian apparitions and the Jewish people.
Catherine Laboure’ was a twenty four year old novice in a convent when the Blessed Mother first appeared to her at Rue du Bac in Paris on July 18, 1830. The Miraculous Medal, revealed to Catherine, has been distributed around the world in the billions since 1830. The apparitions of The Virgin of the Globe, as Rue du Bac is officially called, ushered in the Marian Era as we now know it.
Our Blessed Mother appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes, France. These apparitions began February 11, 1858 when the Blessed Mother prayed the rosary with Bernadette. On February 18, the Blessed Mother spoke for the first time and said, “I do not promise to make you happy in this life, but in the next.” It was at Lourdes where the Blessed Mother said for the first time; “I am the Immaculate Conception.” The 18th and final apparition occurred on July 16, 1858 on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
MEDJUGORJE
The first book ever written by a Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana Soldo, was released August 15, 2016. In her new book, My Heart Will Triumph, Mirjana states that March 18 will be a date of great significance that we will only understand when the events prophesied start to happen. She mentioned specifically August 2, and the second of the month in general are important dates for the world. Again, only when these events happen will we understand the importance of the 2nd of the month.
Mirjana is one of six visionaries who have been receiving apparitions and locutions from the Blessed Mother since 1981. Three visionaries have all ten secrets, and the other three have only received nine of the ten secrets. A total of fifty-seven secrets have been given thus far by the Blessed Mother to the visionaries. The visionaries themselves don’t know if there is overlap in the messages, as Mirjana said they do not discuss the secrets when they are together.
Medjugorje has been an on going Marian apparition for the last thirty-five years. There hasn’t been any Marian apparition like this in world history. The number and frequency of the messages is a story in itself and deserves honest inquiry. Why so long—and why so many? Those frequently asked questions are addressed in Mirjana’s book. Mirjana is known for her depth of character, joy, wit, and laughter, but there has been intense suffering in her life. She makes it clear that heaven has given her all the tools necessary for dealing with the rigors and mysteries of life. She has thrived in the midst of adversity touching millions in the process. With so many yearning souls making a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, there has been incalculable consolations to life’s ills for those that have made the time, the effort, and the expense to make the journey.
The fact that this book by a Medjugorje visionary has been released now after thirty-five years of apparitions and messages is very significant. The Blessed Mother said very early at Medjugorje, “I have a plan for the salvation of mankind, and I come to tell you God exists.” Heaven has a plan and the Blessed Mother has said time and again fear does nothing to enhance our spiritual state. Joy, peace, contentment and laughter are characteristic of Mirjana that emanate from her and her family life. Mirjana said when the visionaries are around each other, the common denominator is joy and laughter.
The Blessed Mother appeared daily to Mirjana for only 18 months. Now three visionaries have all ten secrets, and three have received nine secrets thirty-five years later. Mirjana received all of the ten secrets by the 18th month from the start of the Blessed Mother’s appearances. Mirjana emphaizied that her secrets deal in some capacity with the priesthood. She said, “priests will be the bridge to the Triumph.”
The Blessed Mother visits Mirjana on her birthday March 18, “but the Blessed Mother has never said to her Happy Birthday.” Mirjana said the Blessed Mother promised to appear on her birthday for the rest of her life. The date of March 18 will be very significant for a future event.
OUR LADY IS PLANNING ON CHANGING THE WORLD
Mirjana said, “only when the things contained in the secrets start to happen will the world understand why she chose the 18th of the month… When everything starts happening, then you will be able to understand why the 18th of March, why every second of the month, and why Wednesdays and Fridays are days of fasting. The significance of the date will be clear.” Mirjana’s secrets are written on a scroll or parchment. Mirjana said, “I can not divulge much about the secrets but I can say this, Our Lady is planning on changing the world.”
None can doubt that the confluence of events in the world has pushed us beyond the tipping point. The world is out of control, and people are anxious and discouraged. However, as Mirjana says in her book, heaven has a plan and needs our cooperation to fulfill that plan.
Mirjana said August 2nd is another important day for the world. The Church celebrates August 2nd as the feast day of Our Lady of the Angels, which is connected with Saint Francis of Assisi. Mirana said, “it was on August 2 in 1981 that Our Lady allowed the villagers to touch her dress.” Mirjana adds little else why August 2nd or the second day of the month is important.
Mirjana said, “Our Lady is preparing us for everything that is going to take place in the world. She is training us for victory. When the events in the secrets begin, everything will be clear. You will see, for example, why she chose to appear to me on the 18th of March every year, and why I experience the other apparitions on the second day of the month. You will understand the importance of these dates, and you will realize why she has been appearing for so long.” Mirjana said, “At this moment, according to Our Lady, we are living in a time of grace. After this will come the time of the secrets, and the time of her triumph. God-willing, you will hear from me then.”
MEDJUGORJE IS THE CONTINUATION AND FULFILLMENT OF FATIMA
Saint John Paul II said on March 25, 1984, “Medjugorje is the continuation of Fatima, it’s completion of Fatima.” On several occasions Mirjana has said, “Medjugorje is the fulfillment of Fatima.”
The main visionary of Fatima, Sister Lucia dos Santos not only confirmed, but also
reported experiencing apparitions of Our Lady of Medjugorje in the convent. In Sister Emmanuel’s book, Triumph of the Heart, she said Sister Lucia’s nephew, Father Salinho, said that Sister Lucia received visions of the Blessed Mother long after 1917. According to Father Salinho, the Blessed Mother confirmed her mission in Medjugorje. Father Salinho is a Salesian priest who lives in Portugal.
On August 25, 1991 the Blessed Mother in a message to the world from Medjugorje said, “I invite you to renunciation for nine days so that with your help everything I wanted to realize through the secrets I began at Fatima may be fulfilled…” On several occasions, the seers of Medjugorje have said, “Medjugorje is the continuation and fulfillment of Fatima.”
In message 357 of the Marian Movement of Priests with a message titled “My Times Have Arrived,” in 1987 (A Marian Year) the Blessed Mother said, “Already during this Marian Year certain great events will take place, concerning what I predicted at Fatima and have told, under secrecy, to the children to whom I am appearing at Medjugorje. And so bring all my children into the refuge of my Immaculate Heart; call them; take them by the hand; do not forget anyone. Beloved sons, see all along your roads those who are far away, the little ones, the poor, those cast aside, the persecuted, the sinners, the drug addicts, those who are the victims of the reign of Satan. I want to save all my children. I have need of you because I want to save them through you. In the time of the chastisement, they must be protected and defended; they must be helped and consoled…go gather the weakest, the littlest, the most fragile, those who are suffering most, those who are furthest away, those who are lost. Bring them all to me because I want them all in the secure refuge of my Immaculate heart.” The overall message is about God’s mercy and love.
The Blessed Mother said to Mirjana, “What I started in Fatima, I will complete in Medjugorje. My heart will triumph.”
Mirjana emphasizes in her book, heaven has a plan for all mankind, and the visionaries knowledgeable of the secrets are at total peace.
At Fatima, Jesus pointed to the significance of the Immaculate Heart in our times, and emphasized that Russia is a central part of the Fatima message.
In 1981 at Medjugorje the Blessed Mother said, “Russia will come to glorify God the most, the West has made civilization progress but without God, and acts as if they are their own creator.” Russia has always been the key to the Fatima message. It would seem logical that if Medjugorje is the completion of Fatima, then it may in some way have a strong connection to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
In a message from Medjugorje on May 2, 2016 the Blessed Mother said to the world, “gather the shattered crosses and be apostles of the revelation.”
On the very last page of Mirjana’s book, she provides a metaphor what we may expect in the future. It is handled tactfully and with elegance to not frighten people, but she also makes a significant point what may lie ahead. She writes, “Our Lady told me many things that I cannot yet reveal. For now, I can only hint at what our future holds, but I do see indications that the events are already in motion. Things are slowly starting to develop. Our Lady says, look at the signs of the times, and pray.
I can compare it to spring-cleaning. If I want my home to be spotless, I know that I first need to turn everything upside down. I move the sofa, I stack the chairs on the table, I open all the cupboards—nothing remains in its place. My home is thrown into chaos and disorder. It’s unrecognizable to my children and the peace is gone. But then I clean under everything. I wipe away all the grime. I put every piece of furniture back to its rightful place. In the end, my home is more immaculate than ever.
This is how I see all the confusion in the world today. This is how I see Our Lady’s apparitions and God’s plan. A truly clean house starts with a big mess. Will you be like most children who stand back while Mom cleans, or will you not be afraid to get your hands dirty and help her? Like Our Lady said in one of her messages, “I desire that, through love, our hearts may triumph together.”
May the triumph of her heart begin with you.”
Several things are significant in this message. First, she is the first visionary in thirty-five years to ever publish a book on Medjugorje, and this is exactly how heaven must want it. Second, the sub theme of the book is how through the grace of heaven Mirjana has dealt with much suffering, and still maintains a vibrant life of joy and peace in the midst of what she does. Few people would have had the grace to wake up in the morning to have thousands of pilgrims standing outside your front door for thirty-five years. Third, Mirjana uses a metaphor of very emotive words like: “upside down, chaos, disorder, wipe away all the grime, and a big mess” concerning where the world is headed. Let those who have ears hear.
Women will be able to identify more than men with this, but what we are witnessing on a global basis is like the birth of a baby. As the baby nears delivery, many women experience fear like they have never experienced before. Many know what to expect, and the anxiety of what may or may not happen very soon is something the couple has experienced. There is blood, guts, tearing, shots, screaming, anxiety, fear, cursing (ask any OB-GYN) and just about every emotion imaginable for the soon to be mother and father. After the birth, there is great fatigue and relief, yet joy. The ordeal is over, and it is often as if nothing happened due to the new child and the miracle of life. Tranquility is there with the triumph of the new-born. The day that we are now in is the like the birth of a child. World events may get painful and messy before they get better. Good Friday precedes Easter Sunday.
