“I Have Many Plans That Will Spring Forth From This Holy Place”
It seems that Heaven has a comprehensive plan to develop places of conversion, healing, grace, and refuge in the tri-state regions of Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. It is a carefully executed and timed plan that involves extraordinary events, five locations, at least three visionaries, and numerous members of the priesthood and laity.
The point of convergence is Father Leroy Smith, pastor of Saint Joseph Church in Cold Spring, Kentucky. Heaven’s plan began to unfold in December 1991. He received word from a reputed visionary in Arkansas that Our Lady would manifest Herself at the church on August 31, 1992. A second seer who chooses to remain anonymous and is known only as the “Batavia Visionary” gave Father Smith a similar message. A third woman called Sandy came to him with a message in June 1992. None of the three women knew one another or Father Smith at the time. They received messages and instructions to contact him independently of one another at different locations and different times.
On the night of August 31, 1992, many people at Saint Joseph’s Church claimed to see Mary as Our Lady of Light. Thousands more saw what they described enthusiastically as “a fantastic light show.” Subsequent messages from one, two, or all three of the seers named the second site, the Church of the Immaculata in Cincinnati, as another place favored by Our Lady because of the faith and devotion of its people. A third location is what has become Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center in Norwood, Ohio. A fourth is a Lourdes Grotto at Saint John Bergamo Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, and a fifth is a farm near Falmouth, Kentucky.
Our Lady has said that She will establish “many holy places” so that all of Her children will have access to Her. On November 1, 1993, She appeared with the Baby Jesus in Her arms, saying She was presenting “The Light” to the world. She Gave the following message: “My child, I request all of My Children to give me a sign of their faith. I have provided many signs to all of you to strengthen your faith. But at this time, I need a sign of your faith, and I need your action as well.”
Equipping Our Young People for Battle
“…I ask again that the first Saturday of the first five months of the coming year be a special day, and given to Me as a token of your faith. I further ask for the consecration of the world to My Immaculate Heart, and for the Communion of Reparation to be made by all of My faithful children, and that my rosary be recited for peace.”
“…I need these ‘signs of faith’ from you, My children. Much of the world is at war with one another, and you are facing more war. Through My intercession, war can be stopped. As you are sheltered in a false security, you cannot see what lies ahead – but it is coming… Please join me in this battle. Satan is rejoicing because he feels he has led you away from Me and that you will not listen to MY pleas any longer. Please, dear children, do not let him win. I need you and your prayers.”
The Importance of Fatima’s First Saturday Devotion
Mary’s request that we honor the five first Saturdays is a reiteration of Her request at Fatima, and it includes Confession (that day or within one week previous), Holy Communion (Sacramental), the rosary, and the additional request of the Stations of the Cross to honor the passion and death of Her Son and to plead for His mercy “in these days of atonement.” She continued, “I have so stipulated these certain Saturday devotions to stop what may be coming to your land of America and to stop war which has already erupted and shall continue to erupt in all parts of your world…. The Heavenly Father looks on with dismay as you continue to go farther and farther away from Him and His Laws. Through His Divine Mercy, the Father is again offering you a chance for atonement before His Hand of Justice strikes you.”
Signs of the Times visits the Tri-State Area
